Data retention and deletion.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
- Active data
- Active account and business data is retained while the account and business workspace remain in use.
- Files and records
- Uploaded files and operational records are retained as part of the business workspace until deleted, overwritten or removed through the app or backend workflows.
- Notification data
- Push notification tokens and device-notification preferences are retained until they are replaced, removed or associated access ends.
Account deletion
Users can request deletion of their own account from within the app at Profile → Danger zone → Delete account.
When an account is deleted, Stockr is designed to delete the user’s login and associated account data, including the user’s profile, uploaded receipts and receipt files, stock counts, task completions, timekeeping records, shift schedules, shift calendar assignments, pending invites associated with that account email and device push tokens.
To preserve shared business records and audit integrity, some collaborative records may be retained in de-identified or anonymised form when an account is deleted. This can include creator or reviewer references on shared records such as board updates, board calendar entries, SOPs, item requests, receipt reviews and other business-owned collaborative content.
If a user is the only active owner of a business, account deletion may be blocked until ownership is transferred or another owner is added so the business is not left without an owner.
